Congrats to the runners of the Boston Marathon!

Truly sorry I didn’t blog yesterday.

Excuse: had a bad day. Can’t blame me for that right?!

Has this ever happened to you – you’re going on weeks and weeks feeling good about yourself, what you’re doing, what’s going on around you, your life in general right? And then one day you wake up and realize that there is still a ton of things you need to work on. Maybe one or two really big things that are always hounding you.

This was my day yesterday and it just left me feeling a bit down in the dumps. Thankfully Colin helped me talk it out, which I am a true believer in – Communication is key to everything in life; jobs, relationships, friendships, etc. (my Comm professors would be so proud!) At the end of the day, before bed, I was already feeling better. Sometimes you just have random bouts of feeling o v e r w h e l m e d with everything going on around you. I am so happy I have Colin to be there for me whenever I need him, he is amazing and extremely patient, kind, understanding etc. etc. I need someone like that to put up with me! I am a very lucky girl.

Anyway, congratulations to all the AMAZING runners who participated in the Boston Marathon yesterday! What an accomplishment! Maybe one day I will be running this marathon….

Tonight Colin, Meg, Matt and Fr. Jim are going to Dillons in Andover for a belated birthday dinner (Fr. Jim turned 80 on April 1st!) Should be great to catch up with the wonderful FJ. Plus Dillons is usually delicious so I’m looking forward to that. I’ll let you know what I order!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday xo
